ADAM'S NEW SINGLE "FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT" IS HERE!

Got up at 6:45 this morning to hear it - and it takes A LOT to get me up that early - but it was worth it to get this song right away!

Look at this cover - now THIS is what I was expecting from Adam - FIERCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


I don't usually care for "pop" songs, but this is so wicked, the lyrics are deadly, the beat is catchy, it sticks in your head, and Adam's voice, even though a bit over-produced for my taste is FABULOUS!

This is gonna be a MAJOR hit on the radio and in the clubs.

Adam said that this album is going to have something for everyone - pop, rock, ballads, alternative, funk - so this is one of the pop tunes - GREAT choice for a break-out song, he needed something to get top 40 radio play and club play - then he can release the rest!

So it appears that the controversial album cover didn't hinder sales - just the opposite, sales have skyrocketed!!!

Number one and rising!!!

In the "movers & shakers" category Adam's album has increased in sales by 700% since yesterday - WOWZA!!!

I guess Adam knew what he was doing.

Adam on Oprah today! I HAVE THE VIDEO NOW!!!

I made an alternate Album Cover

For anyone who doesn't care for the album cover, I hope you're still planning on buying the CD.

As they say, "You can't judge a book (or an album in this case!) by it's cover".

I made up an alternate cover. This is just a mock-up, the real one will be better. My boy and I are going to print these up and put them inside the jewel cases when we get our albums. Unless by then the real ones grow on us...never know.

If anyone wants one of these when I have them done up perfect let me know. They will be the exact size to fit in the jewel case.

MUSE has written a song called SOAKED for Adam - it's GREAT!!!!!

I'm a HUGE Muse fan. Huge Huge HUGE. So when Adam confirmed that he was going to be singing a song written by MUSE I was very excited! THEN the song was leaked - not with Adam singing, but the Demo that MUSE gave to Adam with Matthew Bellamy singing. Listen to " SOAKED" and tell me what you think!!!!!!!!!!!!

JUST IN - FIRST SINGLE IS TO BE "FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT" not "What ya want from me". CONFIRMED BY ADAM LAMBERT himself via Twitter!!!

Ok, so the buzz was that the Pink song "What ya want from me" was to be the first single from Adam's new album "FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT". We even got work that RCA had confirmed it. I guess things change quickly in the music biz, because today Adam has confirmed that his first single will be FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT - same as the title of the album. The song is produced by Claude Kelly and Dr. Luke. It's supposed to be a high-energy, rock/pop song that will make people want to get up and dance. I'm just hoping that they don't synthesize his voice, as is so popular these days. Adam's voice is perfect as it is, clear, bright and mesmerizing. No synth/tech/distortion needed - it would only take away from the impact in my opinion. No demo out yet, the single is scheduled to be released for airplay and for sale on iTunes on Monday November 2nd.

JUST IN - the official cover of Adam's new album!

OK... - hmmm, I'm not sure about the blue hair, the overly air-brushed skin, the 70's look - it is artsy though - and controversial - and a total departure from the Details mag shoot - but it doesn't look like Adam.

I guess it's just what Adam wants - to ENTERTAIN us and keep us guessing as to what this beautiful and talented chameleon will turn up as next!!

Heard my mail go THUNK when it was delivered today, so I knew that what I've been waiting for had arrived - my copy of the November InStyle Mag! I have a subscription (love the magazine), so even though it was late this month I didn't buy it at the store!

Adam Lambert was the headliner at this year's annual Party City Halloween Bash & Industry Awards

This event takes place every year in Boca Raton, Florida and ended up donating $400,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of America. Rumor is that Adam was paid $75,000.00 to perform and that he donated a large portion of it to the charity. Look at the gorgeous "Glampire" - nice fangs!!! (Oh - and nice new haircut too!)

Adam Lambert on OPRAH via satellite Thursday October 29th!

The show is about Reality TV Shows. When Oprah did a poll asking who was the most popular Reality TV Show Star ADAM won by a landslide.

The show was taped 2 weeks ago in Chicago when Adam was recording in LA, so unfortunately he will NOT be present on the show, but will be there Via Satellite.

Oprah and Adam share a birthday - January 29th.

She has asked him to come and perform on her show when his schedule slows down - something to look forward to!

Adam Lambert to perform his new Single from the album For Your Entertainment at the 2009 AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS

This will be the DEBUT PERFORMANCE of the first single from Adam's new Album, "For Your Entertainment". The song has yet to be released as of this date, even Adam himself doesn't know which one it's going to be. Being the great performance artist that he is I'm sure it's going to be something spectacular to see.

The AMA's are on SUNDAY NOVEMBER 22 at the Kodak Theater in LA. The show will be televised on ABC, time is said to be 8 pm Pacific, 7 pm Central, not sure what time for Eastern. You don't want to miss this!

Adam's new Album - "FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT" to be released November 23/09

Adam's first album, titled FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT is being released by Sony/RCA on November 23, 2009. You can pre-order it now at Amazon.com or Amazon.ca. It's going to be fabulous. Adam tweeted today that the first single should be coming out NEXT WEEK - still no word on what the title is going to be for it - but I know it's going to be fantastic.

Magazines LOVE to have Adam on the cover and in feature stories. Of course they do - he's gorgeous, photogenic, talented, interesting and controversial - which equates with selling a hella lot of mags!!

Then in June he was featured on the cover of none other than ROLLING STONE - with a multi-page layout of pictures and an in-depth interview answering most of the questions that people had been asking about Adam.

Adam Lambert - TIME FOR MIRACLES - The single from the movie "2012"

One of the reasons for this blog is to keep people up to date on the rising star that is ADAM LAMBERT. If you haven't heard of him yet, you will - unless you live under a rock.


Adam was chosen to do the soundtrack for the movie 2012, directed by Roland Emmerich and starring John Cusack, Amanda Peet and many other big names. This is one of the most anticipated and talked about movie of 2009. It comes to theaters Friday November 13th. The song Adam is performing is called TIME FOR MIRACLES. This is what MTV has to say about the song:

While Adam Lambert is still in the studio completing his major-label debut, For Your Entertainment, out on November 23, his music video for "Time for Miracles" premiered on MySpace on Wednesday morning (October 21). The song, produced by Rob Cavallo, is for the apocalyptic flick "2012," which hits theaters on November 13. In the video, Lambert dons his best Goth clothes and anguished face as he makes his way through disaster scene after disaster scene, as everyone else around flees falling buildings and debris raining down from a fiery sky. Despite the fact that the world is coming to an end around him, Lambert looks triumphantly straight into the camera and sings about not giving up on a lost love.

Scenes of Lambert mugging for the camera and belting out the midtempo power ballad are intercut with clips from the John Cusack film. Toward the end of the song, the "American Idol" runner-up begins to show off his signature range and turn up the volume as he stands on top of a building.

The track itself, which was written by Alain Johannes and the late Natasha Shneider, found its way online earlier this week after it was released in Europe. It became officially available for purchase on Amazon and iTunes in the U.S. on Wednesday.

Lambert told MTV News that Cavallo "pushed me to the limit" of his vocal range for "Time for Miracles," but he and his label have maintained that the power ballad is not representative of the songs on his album. There is still no word on whether or not the song will be featured on his debut album, or just the film's soundtrack.

Starting October 28, fans can check out the "Time for Miracles" music video on the big screen when a special extended "2012"/ "Time for Miracles" trailer runs before screenings of "Michael Jackson's This Is It."

YES - Adam's video is going to be shown before Michael Jackson's epic movie "This Is It". You can't buy publicity like that - well, I guess you can - since Sony is putting out the MJ movie - and Adam is signed by Sony! This is HUGE - people who haven't heard of Adam will certainly hear of him - and see him - and hear his fabulous vocals after this!!!
