Adam at Premiere of 2012 in Los Angeles

Even though the movie doesn't open until November 13th there was a premiere in LA last night, November 3rd. Of course Adam was there. Lots of hype about this movie, and it's so great that Adam was the one chosen to sing the theme song for the film.

Pictures!

AND - a little video interview!

Adam at the Press Conference for the movie 2012

Adam Lambert, along with director Roland Emmerich and actors John Cusack and Amanda Peet were at a press conference for the movie 2012 (opening in theaters across North America on Friday November 13th) this week. Yes, I have pictures! There were 38 pictures taken at the Press Conference. 16 are of Adam. Hmmm, wonder who the press is most interested in?!?!

Adam and I were both Glampires for Halloween!

Too bad we weren't at the same party!

Me!

ADAM'S NEW SINGLE "FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT" IS HERE!

Got up at 6:45 this morning to hear it - and it takes A LOT to get me up that early - but it was worth it to get this song right away!

Look at this cover - now THIS is what I was expecting from Adam - FIERCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't usually care for "pop" songs, but this is so wicked, the lyrics are deadly, the beat is catchy, it sticks in your head, and Adam's voice, even though a bit over-produced for my taste is FABULOUS!

This is gonna be a MAJOR hit on the radio and in the clubs.

Adam said that this album is going to have something for everyone - pop, rock, ballads, alternative, funk - so this is one of the pop tunes - GREAT choice for a break-out song, he needed something to get top 40 radio play and club play - then he can release the rest!

I wish I knew how to post the song in MP3 format but I don't, so go here for a listen!

Here are the lyrics:

FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT - ADAM LAMBERT

So hot, out the box
can we pick up the pace?
turn it up, heat it up
I need to be entertained

push the limit, I'll get with it
baby don't be afraid
I'ma hur 'cha real good baby
lets go, its my show,
baby do what I say

don't trip, off the glitz
that I'm gonna display
I told ya, I'ma hold ya down
until your amazed
give it to ya, 'til your screaming my name

no escaping, when we start
once I'm in I own your heart
there's no way to ring the alarm
so hold on until its over!

oh! do you know what you got into?
can you handle what I'm bout to do?
cause its about to get rough for you
I'm here for your entertainment

oh! bet you thought I was soft and sweet,
thought an angel swept you off your feet,
but I'm about to turn up the heat.
I'm here for your entertainment.

it's alright you'll be fine
baby, I'm in control
take the pain, take the pleasure
I'm the master of both
close your eyes, not your mind
let me into your soul
Ima work it 'til you're totally blown

no escaping when I start
once I'm in I own your heart
there's no way to ring the alarm
so hold on 'til it's over

oh! do you know what you got into?
can you handle what I'm 'bout to do?
because it's about to get rough for you
I'm here for you entertainment

oh, I bet you thought that I was soft and sweet
you thought an angel swept you off your feet
but I'm about to turn up the heat
I'm here for your entertainment

oh oh...
Entertainment...
I'm here for your entertainment...

oh!
do you like what you see?
oh!
let me entertain you until you scream

oh! do you know what you got into?
can you handle what I'm 'bout to do?
because it's about to get rough for you
I'm here for you entertainment

oh, I bet you thought that I was soft and sweet
you thought angel swept you off your feet
but I'm about to turn up the heat
I'm here for your entertainment!

SEXY!!!

Reviews are coming in, all positive and loving it so far!!!

What do YOU think?

ADAM LAMBERT #1 ON AMAZON'S TOP SELLERS LIST!!!!!!

So it appears that the controversial album cover didn't hinder sales - just the opposite, sales have skyrocketed!!!

Number one and rising!!!

In the "movers & shakers" category Adam's album has increased in sales by 700% since yesterday - WOWZA!!!

I guess Adam knew what he was doing.

From his twitter yesterday:
(thanks Tink for the reminder!)

Adam Lambert takes to Twitter to respond to the response to his album cover:

“Thank you to those who appreciate and understand that the album cover is deliberately campy. It’s an omage [sic] to the past. It IS ridiculous. For those that don’t get it: oh well… Glad to have gotten your attention. androgyny. Rock n Roll.”

He's even beating MJ's "This is it" - shocking really, since the movie opened in theaters worldwide yesterday!

The Adam Storm is building into an unstoppable force!

ADAM'S NEW SINGLE "FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT" TO DEBUT ON RYAN SEACREST'S RADIO SHOW FRIDAY MORNING OCTOBER 30!!!!!!!

OK!!!!!! We're finally going to get to hear a taste of this album - Adam tweeted tonight that Seacrest will be premiering the single tomorrow morning!!! If you know what station in your area has his show or can get 102.7 KIIS fm where you live that's one way to hear it. If not, here's where the station live streams on the net:

http://www.kiisfm.com/mediaplayer/?station=KIIS-FM&action=listenlive&channel_title=

6:55 am Pacific time for the live stream, so would be 9:55 am Eastern I think.

Adam on Oprah today! I HAVE THE VIDEO NOW!!!

As mentioned before, Adam will be on Oprah today via satellite/skype.

I GOT THE YOUTUBE VERSION!!! I think it's the whole segment!!! Good thing, since I missed it today (doctor appointments again) so I was thrilled to be able to see it!!!

Adam had dinner with song writer/producer Ferras last night at Nobu in LA.

Here's a couple of pictures. He's looking great as always!!

I made an alternate Album Cover

For anyone who doesn't care for the album cover, I hope you're still planning on buying the CD.

As they say, "You can't judge a book (or an album in this case!) by it's cover".

I made up an alternate cover. This is just a mock-up, the real one will be better. My boy and I are going to print these up and put them inside the jewel cases when we get our albums. Unless by then the real ones grow on us...never know.

If anyone wants one of these when I have them done up perfect let me know. They will be the exact size to fit in the jewel case.

What do you think of my "vision" for Adam's CD??????

MUSE has written a song called SOAKED for Adam - it's GREAT!!!!!

I'm a HUGE Muse fan. Huge Huge HUGE. So when Adam confirmed that he was going to be singing a song written by MUSE I was very excited! THEN the song was leaked - not with Adam singing, but the Demo that MUSE gave to Adam with Matthew Bellamy singing. Listen to " SOAKED" and tell me what you think!!!!!!!!!!!!

JUST IN - FIRST SINGLE IS TO BE "FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT" not "What ya want from me". CONFIRMED BY ADAM LAMBERT himself via Twitter!!!

Ok, so the buzz was that the Pink song "What ya want from me" was to be the first single from Adam's new album "FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT". We even got work that RCA had confirmed it. I guess things change quickly in the music biz, because today Adam has confirmed that his first single will be FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT - same as the title of the album. The song is produced by Claude Kelly and Dr. Luke. It's supposed to be a high-energy, rock/pop song that will make people want to get up and dance. I'm just hoping that they don't synthesize his voice, as is so popular these days. Adam's voice is perfect as it is, clear, bright and mesmerizing. No synth/tech/distortion needed - it would only take away from the impact in my opinion. No demo out yet, the single is scheduled to be released for airplay and for sale on iTunes on Monday November 2nd.

Adam Lambert's most memorable experience (so far) as an artist

It isn't new, but I thought it was interesting and very sweet. Just released today even though it was recorded in August.

ADAM LAMBERT on the RED CARPET for MJ's This Is It!

Here are some photos of Adam - looking like Adam - on the red carpet Tuesday October 27th as he heads to the premiere of Michael Jackson's "This Is It". He took Katy Perry as his date for the event - they look lovely together!

Here's a bit of one of the interviews:

NOW...WHAT IF...

The colors were edited like this???

I'm liking it a bit better. I removed the fake hair too.

"FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT" COVER RELEASED!!

JUST IN - the official cover of Adam's new album!

OK... - hmmm, I'm not sure about the blue hair, the overly air-brushed skin, the 70's look - it is artsy though - and controversial - and a total departure from the Details mag shoot - but it doesn't look like Adam.

I guess it's just what Adam wants - to ENTERTAIN us and keep us guessing as to what this beautiful and talented chameleon will turn up as next!!

Click on it to make it big - I'm totally doing this eye makeup tomorrow - gorgeous!

Adam Lambert in "InStyle" Magazine

Heard my mail go THUNK when it was delivered today, so I knew that what I've been waiting for had arrived - my copy of the November InStyle Mag! I have a subscription (love the magazine), so even though it was late this month I didn't buy it at the store!

Here's a scan of the article. If you click on it you can see it full size so you can read it.

Everyone loves Adam!

Adam Lambert was the headliner at this year's annual Party City Halloween Bash & Industry Awards

This event takes place every year in Boca Raton, Florida and ended up donating $400,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of America. Rumor is that Adam was paid $75,000.00 to perform and that he donated a large portion of it to the charity. Look at the gorgeous "Glampire" - nice fangs!!! (Oh - and nice new haircut too!)

Adam Lambert on OPRAH via satellite Thursday October 29th!

The show is about Reality TV Shows. When Oprah did a poll asking who was the most popular Reality TV Show Star ADAM won by a landslide.

The show was taped 2 weeks ago in Chicago when Adam was recording in LA, so unfortunately he will NOT be present on the show, but will be there Via Satellite.

Oprah and Adam share a birthday - January 29th.

She has asked him to come and perform on her show when his schedule slows down - something to look forward to!
